RTI YOU CAN DO! is the creation of Dr. Sherri Dobbs Santos, an RTI (Response to Intervention) coordinator for the Henry County School System in McDonough, GA. Dr. Santos has over 22 years of experience in the field of education including 16 years as a classroom teacher. She has worked since 2006 with teachers, administrators, and parents in developing effective interventions based on current research and best practices.

Each RTI manual comes complete with the essential pieces of an effective RTI program: Universal Screening, Progress Monitoring, RTI Graphs, and Step-by-Step Intervention Lessons. Also included is the research and evidence supporting both lesson format and content.

Focusing on the American historical figures Benjamin Franklin, Thomas Jefferson, Lewis & Clark, and Sacagawea, these multi-leveled books (written on kindergarten - 2nd grade levels) incorporate high frequency words and reader's theater to both inform and entertain young readers. Because the books include three distinct reading levels, it's like getting three books in one! The companion book "Mavis Davis Unlocks the Past" is a read-aloud chapter book about a veteran teacher who has a magical way to bring the historical figures to life! This chapter book describes four of Mavis Davis' students who are also characters in the reader's theater plays (written on multiple levels). A must read to bring all of the pieces together!
